Quick Week

I have no idea how this past week flew by so fast, but it's over! A couple highlights this week were,


Our new friend Tami came to church and really loved it! She was so shocked about how welcome she felt. The first thing she said after church was "Why does everyone hate mormons?" It was so funny. She's obviously heard a lot about us but quickly learned how not much of what she heard was true. Tami is so awesome, and really wants to be baptized soon!


Katrina decided that she wants to read the Book of Mormon on her own and doesn't want us helping her keep that commitment. Whenever we have a lesson with her, the spirit is so strong, and she has so many insightful questions which is so amazing!


Lastly, we have Janice who is super amazing! She is the sweetest old lady who can talk forever if you let her, but she really understands what we are teaching so that's really cool! We have scheduled lessons with her every week, and have amazing lessons with her outside of those too! She seriously loves having us Elders and a member come over to teach her. We have been pushing hard to get her to church, and hopefully she'll make it this next week!


It is so nice to have so many people progressing and thinking about baptism and how important it is to have. This last week was pretty rough outside of our main friends, but it is so sweet to look back and see how much they have all grown over this last week!


The best part of my week is watching so many of our friends grow their relationship with Jesus Christ and seeing how much better he can make their lives once they do a couple things, and allow Him to do the rest. Christ truly brings joy in a way they can't expect.
