So Blessed

On another random Thursday, a sister gave to me...
6 FULL CHICKENS! 5 pounds of Pickles, 4 cans of beans, 3 heads of cabbage, 2 Krispy Kremes, and a whole bottle of shampoo!

We have one sister in our ward, who is on food stamps, and she gives us tons of food every Tuesday and Thursday. It is such a blessing to be able to save some missionary funds for a future area.

Outside of the amazing blessings we have received this past week, it has been pretty tough. I came down sick last wednesday, and it has stuck around quite a bit. It's just common cold symptoms, but it just won't go away. But the work must go on! We have been doing TONS of phone calls with all of our friends, and have had some amazing lessons over the phone with some people we didn't expect to even answer.

One of my favorite things I have seen this week has been seeing the spirit just work on some people where you think the interactions are absolutely terrible, and they end up being amazing. There have been so many times this week, where we have had so many unexpected amazing lessons.

The Miracle of the week though, has been our friend Veronica, who would get baptized today if her health allowed her, was able to get a surgery moved up, which means she is one step closer to getting baptized. If you just listen to her story, it is so evident to see how God is involved in her life. The Lord's Work is full of Joy, simply because you can see how God is involved in so many people's lives, and you get to see the bits of joy become a part of their life as you introduce them to small pieces of the gospel of joy.

For P-day today, we drove out to the coast, and went down a popular street and visited all the stores and walked on a pier and the ocean was just so beautiful. The air just felt amazing! I am so happy out here, and doing the Lord's work just makes it so much better.

This week has been rough, but I can't wait to see how much better this next one will be!
