Another Week in the Books

This week flew! I have no idea how it flew so fast, but it was great! We got tons of work done and it has been amazing to just share about general conference!

The week started slow, but then we had a zone council about how we need to make the quality of our short talks with people better. Then following that we had our exchanges, and I really got to see how effective this new way of reaching out is.

The week flew by, and we were getting work done, but we blinked and it was Friday already. Fridays are awesome because we always have dinners at a member's house, the Kinseys. And every week we celebrate a birthday. One of the Elders turned 138 the other week so make sure to keep him in your prayers, because I have no idea how he's still kicking it.

Then it was the weekend!! Saturday and Sunday we texted and went around to everyone we are teaching to tell them about general conference. It was kinda exhausting and it got to the point where I didn't want to be overbearing, but it was just so fun sharing the joy of general conference with everyone we were taking to!

With that all happening we got 10 of our friends to watch it, and they loved it! The messages were such a testimony builder with all the work that has been happening so it was super nice. General Conference gave me the insight I was looking for on furthering the work here in New Bern.

There were so many great things from general conference, but I especially loved Steven J Lund’s talk about the sacrament. The sacrament is my favorite part about every week, because It strengthens our relationship with our Savior and helps us make changes in our lives that will help us draw nearer to our Savior as well.

Sorry, I didn't get any new pictures this week, I'll make sure to get some good ones for next week!

Hope everyone is doing well!
See you next week!
