Easter Season

This week disappeared again, but so much has happened!


Everything this week has been about Easter! It's been so much fun sharing our easter message with everyone, and in exchange getting bible bashed, and repeatedly getting told that it is a Pagan Holiday. But the week has been so joyous just declaring to everyone that Jesus Christ Lives.


Outside of this past week being Holy Week, I can't talk about this week without mentioning Kites. We have been loving kites so much. Today we got another 750 Yards of fishing line and sent a kite out until we were out of line. Then we wanted it back so we reeled it in for a good 35 minutes before it got stuck in a tree :( Thankfully, this stuff is so cheap, and we got most of the fishing line back, so you can guess where we'll be next P-day.


Probably the biggest highlight of the week has been that our friend Veronica got her Catheter removed, so she is now fully ready to be Baptized this next Sunday, and she could not be any more excited!


This week has been super hot, and we forgot to grab some water on Saturday, so we stopped at a gas station. Little did I know, that gas station stop would be so much more memorable than I would think. First I found this Drink that I had once when I was like 9, and haven't seen since. It made my whole week to find that and be able to try it again. THEN, as we were leaving, we saw one lady drive off with the Gas Pump still in her car. I feel so bad for that lady, but it was so funny finally seeing it happen.


New Bern is still so blessed, and despite very few prius drivers out here, everyone is so willing to talk. Church this week was so amazing, because there were so many people there! Most everyone was talking to someone new that I have never seen or heard of in my time here. The members make the work so much easier, and it is so easy to see our work, affecting the ward when they help too.
This week Literally vanished, so there's not much more that I remember, but the work has been amazing! I am so grateful to be out here serving with everything that I've got everyday!
