Have Ya Tried Prayer?
Hey everyone, how's it going?!
We have had so many lessons this week, and can really see some of our friends understand what we are teaching them which is so cool! I think my favorite lesson of the week has been our friend Janice. She has some crazy health challenges, but she is such a saint. She loves having us come over and share more about Jesus Christ's gospel with her. This week we taught her the importance of baptism, and she really wants to be baptized soon! She said this week's doctor appointments will help her know when she'll be ready for baptism, but we are so excited for her.
This week felt pretty sluggish, especially saturday. We had like 5 lessons fall through in the evening which meant we had more time to find some new people, which was so needed. We tried a couple of streets and nothing. So we finally decided to pray and then to act as soon as we finished praying. We both kinda found the same street and went there. We ran into a couple people who are super interested in learning more about the gospel! It was so exciting to finally have something happen.
But the week finally ended, and it was so nice to relax today. Me and my comp woke up at 5am today to drive to the beach. We were supposed to meet the district there, but no one else showed. But it was so nice walking on the beach. Usually the mornings are not my most favorite part of the day, but I had no problem driving an hour to the beach this morning.
Even when the days feel so slow, it's so weird to look back and see how fast the week went. It's funny but I think P-days are sometimes the slowest, because sharing the gospel with people is just so enjoyable. Being able to have amazing lessons where the spirit is undeniably present, multiple times a day is one of the coolest things ever.
Have a great week!
