I have a Son?
This week was all over the place!
We got to work on Tuesday before we got a call from president where he said I'm gling to get to be training. And that means we had to be in Mt Pleasant at 10am on Thursday. So since it is about a 6 hour drive, we decided to drive about 2 hours the night before so we didn't have to get up extra early.
Then we got there, and I said goodbye to Elder Mckay and welcomed in my new Comp. It was super sweet being there because I was able to get a picture with my missionary genealogy. It strings 4 lines long now.
But my new companion, is absolutely amazing. He has such a desire to get right to work and see miracles happening. And they sure have been.
This week we have had a good 3 friends start diligently working on the word of wisdom which is so awesome.
And the highlight of the week was that Luke came to church! We have been trying to get him to come for the last 4 weeks and he finally made it. The spirit was so strong and he said so many of his questions were answered as he was there.
But the work is absolutely amazing, and the Lord is truly guiding it. As soon as I learned I was going to train I felt so inadequate. Like I don't know enough about the area, or about missionary work in general. But I know the Lord understands our weaknesses and infirmities and is able to strengthen us as we trust in him and push forward with that unshaken faith. I have seen it in my life so many times where as soon as I turn to him the things that weren't possible become possible.
Hope yall take care!
