Miracles and Pet Gators
This week was absolutely wild. The work this week alone, feels like it has absolutely boomed.
We stopped by our friend Penny this week with the intention to see if she is interested, and once we got there she told us she is reading the Book of Mormon and loving it! Then we left and put her on date for baptism!
Then we got back in contact with 2 people in the area who were on date for baptism before but fell out of contact. They're super awesome and remember what they were taught before so that's amazing.
Anyways, there's a member in the ward, who we are probably the closest to, who reeled in a gator in his private pond about 3 years ago. Fast forward 3 years, and he's been going out and feeding it chicken and tons of other food often. Turns out it is still alive in his pond/swamp and keeps coming back for the food. Definitely don't want to mess with him.
But the miracles this week were at church. Penny brought her family to church, and they knew people, and loved it. But the amazing thing was, we had organized a ride for one of our friends, who doesn't have a phone or a ride, but the ride fell through 10 minutes before church started. Half way through sacrament our friend walks in. Turns out he started walking and someone just picked him up and dropped him off at the church. We all have no idea who did it, but it was absolutely wild. I'm still in shock he walked in. It's amazing how the Lord will magnify our efforts. He could've stayed home, but he had a crazy desire to get there. I've also thought about how amazing it is that two 19 year old kids can have a crazy spiritual day, where we meet people who need to hear our message in that moment. All because of planning with the help of the Lord. I know the Lord works miracles if you just look for them and have a desire to see them happen. He magnifies our well desired efforts into something unthinkable.
Oh and I couldn't end this email, without shouting out our friends, Bonnie and Chester, who gave us a sweet pressure cooker and air frier!
Sorry this one was a bit long, but I guess it makes up for the shorter ones the past couple weeks.
Take care!
Sorry I got like 0 pictures this week
