Aquaman!!

What's up! Another week is gone, and this one was super sweet.
This week we had exchanges with the APs and then the next day I got to go back to New Bern with Elder Turner for a day and that was so awesome! We taught a lot of people and found some people who are super interested in Baptism.
Then August hit here and the weather surprised everyone here and ended up being in the high 70's for most of the day so that was super appreciated.
Next we had a lesson with one of our friends, and we were talking about Percy Jackson for a second. Our friend said that Percy Jackson is his favorite and then asked if we knew who his dad was. He said he forgot his name but remembered he was the king of Atlantis. So I yelled Aquaman

He said yup thats him! The said yall are so knowledgeable about Fake God's and the real God

We had a lesson with Daniel and talked about how important it is to read from the Book of Mormon to find strength and spiritual resilience in his life. After we left he found some missionaries Facebook account and read a verse from Alma. He decided he liked it so much that he decided to syau up all night and so he stayed up all night reading ALL of Alma.
I was shocked for a minute once he told us that, but then it just made me so happy. He learned how valuable the Book of Mormon is, and when we asked him what he learned from reading it, he said he learned a lot but that the most important thing was that he knows that God and Jesus Christ are always here for him. He said it doesn't matter what I do, they always are here for me and always love me.
The Book of Mormon brought so much power in his life and can do that for everyone. The power from the Book of Mormon can answer any question. It is so amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that the Book of Mormon is from God and was prepared to help us today. I love it so much!
Daniel is someone that helps me love being a missionary so much, because I have been able to see the Atoning Power of Jesus Christ work through him and change him from a pretty crazy, angry, wild man into someone completely different. He is now humble, just wants to help other people, and wants to love God and feel God's love for him. He's quit so many addictions and has grown so much in the past 3 weeks. There's no doubt in my mind that the savior is the source of this amazing change. Anyone who has seen him over the past 3 weeks has seen this. I am convinced even a blind person would be able to see it.
I am so excited to see him get baptized soon! He wants it so bad, but has a couple more things he needs to work through before he is fully ready!
Here's the Google Photos again!
Take Care!
