AC is overrated anyways

Somehow another 6 weeks have past, and I had to say goodbye to my son in Havelock.

It took me 6 months, but I made it out of the Morehead city zone! I have been super excited to leave because now I actually get to see more of the mission, and meet more people in the mission.

I got transfered to Savannah Bike second half training another elder named Elder Davie. But the first couple of days has been a little rough. I used to bike a lot, so it's coming back, But it's so funny being a little sore after biking all day.

The area is super sweet though, and we're just working on helping our friend Stacey get baptized. We have a huge plan in place to get her to stop smoking, so hopefully she follows through on that.

But this area is super blessed and I'm super excited to be here in Savannah around so many people that we can talk to all the time.
It's also amazing because I got here right when summer is cooling down, so were getting some super nice weather. The only downside is riding when it's raining. There's so much mud and dirty water that comes up and hits our shirts.

Lastly, I was reading in Alma chapter 49 and came across verse 20 which says, Thus they were prepared, yea, a body of their strongest men, with their swords and their slings, to smite down all who should attempt to come into their place of security by the place of entrance; and thus were they prepared to defend themselves against the Lamanites.

This stood out to me so much because of the preparations that had taken place. Had they not prepared to go to battle, they would have been completely destroyed by the Lamanites. They were on paper a much more powerful people, but because of their preparations they were able to fight them off and live. It's super important that we also prepare for what's to come. We know many trials and problems are coming in our life and we don't know when, so it's super important to be ready for what's to come.

The most important thing that comes to mind is the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is super important that we prepare today for what is to come. Had the Nephites put off the preparation for later, they would have been destroyed. Likewise it's super important we prepare ourselves spiritually for the second coming.

Hope yall have a great week
Enjoy the AC!
