Part time comp?
This week was so fun!
We started it off with Zone Conference before we had exchanges. I got to go with the YSA which was actually so much fun! It's a pretty weird feeling just focusing on talking to people that are your age out here. We generally teach older people so it was kind of daunting walking up to younger people and trying to share the gospel, but it was so great and we talked to tons of people!

So many fun experiences like having the car break down at 9pm, and then some pretty wild lessons with some YSA friends. It was definitely an exchange for the books.
Then the exchange ended, and I got to go back on bike. But later that day my companion had a pretty nasty crash due to the chain falling off the bike, so I got to go back on exchanges with Elder Reed again!
We had an absolute ball going around and talking to everybody on bike. We had a wonderful lesson with our friend Edna and got to talk to her about the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was a super great lesson and the spirit was super strong!
But the week kept on flying by so that ended fast too.
Then it was Sunday. Sunday was super awesome! We got to help Bree be baptized this week! It was so awesome and she was very smiley which was funny because she's very reserved. She brought her family to it, and they loved it and really felt the spirit that comes from Baptism.
Then after the baptism, we had a blast biking as it was pouring down. We got to bike through tons and tons of Puddles and get absolutely drenched. I think my shoes are still a different shade of brown

But lastly, I just want to talk about how grateful I have been for President Russel M Nelson. As soon as I figured out for myself that he was a prophet called of God, I realized that the promises that he extended to us weren't really from him, but that they were from God. And once I started acting on those invitations I noticed my life seriously starting to change. I found myself having so much more peace and so much more happiness. My trials didn't go away but I had more strength to overcome them. I know for a fact that if I didn't come to that knowledge and start to act and receive the blessings from those promises, I wouldn't be on a mission today. And I would have a whole lot less happiness in my life with a lot less desire to become better. I will miss him a lot, but I'm excited to see more direction coming to my life from the prophet and to see the change in my life as I grow closer to Jesus Christ! I cannot begin to say how excited I am for General Conference this weekend, to have peace from all the storms of life. I'm so grateful for living prophets and apostles that help us focus and become more like Jesus Christ.
It's so beautiful that God loves us so much, he sends prophets, with the same authority and power as the ones we read about in the bible, to help give us direction and help us have more peace in out lives. I cannot begin to say how important prophets have become to me on the mission, and how the direction they received from God has impacted my life.
Hope you all have an amazing week!
Make sure to listen to General Conference!
