Sorry for not writing last week! Not a whole lot happened so I didnt write last week. Both me and my comp got sick quite a bit so its was tough, but it is what it is. This week has felt like a month, but it was super awesome! One of my favorite highlights is I have a nemesis here in Savannah! (Dont tell my mom) I don't know his name or where he came from, but he's not a big fan of me. I encounter him about once a week and the same thing happens... he waits to turn until im in the intersection before he guns it at me 😂 its pretty funny but also terrifying. This week I gave him a good 10 seconds to go, while there was no oncoming traffic, and then as soon as I go, he does 😂😂 it's all okay though because he's not even close. Me and Elder Sibley recovered and so we've been working hard. We had so many lessons fall through this week which is so tragic. Most of the backup things we throw in end up not being enough for 30 minutes, so we end up biking even more. But even though most of our lessons fell through, we have had some great lesson with some super cool friends who are starting to progress which is super exciting! One of them is named Ms Laura, and she is so special. She is 97 years old and when we met her she said that all of her family passed away and she wants to know why God is keeping her here. Later we ended up having a restoration lesson with her, and once we finished telling the story of the restoration, she said "I've heard the story before but I've never heard it explained like that please tell it to me again." It was such a sweet experience and she said she knew that what we shared was true. She said she didnt understand all of it, but she knew it was true. We're super excited to continue to work with her and help her accomplish all that God wants her to do. It's so beautiful to me how well the spirit can Testify the truth. Anyone in that room could feel and know that there's more to our life than just what we can see. It's so beautiful how we're giving that gift to no truth maybe given so much more peace and happiness in our lives despite our circumstances. This week I can easily say I've grown to Love The Gospel so much more than I could have expected, and so despite all the hard times I wouldn't trade this week for anything. Have a great week!
